august 11, 3428 AD: the past decades' mild climate has driven back the snow coverage of the dolomites so far that – after centuries of ice age – first attempts of archaeological explorations of the terrain could be made. a south tyrol expedition lead by cpt. comici is setting up the base camp in the val gardena, as one of the group's scouts returns with amazing news from the langkofel north face.

after 1,400 years the alpha wolf (german leitwolf) made by prinoth slowly but powerfully comes out of his archaeological site. as by a miracle its engine and electronics have been preserved in the ice. with its own power one of the most important historical finds of the present time brings its finders well-protected and securely back to the base camp. a pack of howling wolfs chases after the alpha wolf when it rolls its way to the base camp majestically.
